My name is Shannon. I'm a 16 year old girl in her sophomore year of high school.
That's the most info I should probably be giving right now.
Now let me explain.
Sometimes I feel as if my life is a movie. Not because I'm particularly interesting. I'm really not. I just find that when I do certain things I feel as if they're not correct if they don't follow that typical high school experience as seen in the movies.
I think the idea to write a blog about high school came from something I saw in a movie or many movies. Hell if I know where this stuff comes from. Maybe I'll post something interesting here.
Hopefully I can share some insight into what lovely things really go on in a high school and how I think they should be fixed.
Of course this blog very well might be abandoned within days.
And I might just rant endlessly about things no one cares about.
But back to that idea of movies and high school.
I mean I never really expected high school to be like a movie, why should I? And it's not. There are very few things that add up correctly when it comes to this stuff.
But still that idea of the perfect high school experience is always there isn't it? I found that last year I would sometimes think something like "Oh when I get to high school-" and then realize that I am in high school, it just doesn't seem like it because high school is basically like every other year of education, except with more homework and more hormones.
Ah hormones, the bane of my existence.
Anyway, excuse the blog layout please. I'm absolutely awful at coding. I can get by on tumblr but when it comes to this thing I can't make any sense at all of the code. Jeesh.
I was looking through the fonts on here and after a careful debate I realized that nearly all of them reminded me far too much of an elementary school teacher attempting to make her papers look "fun" and "interesting" and I just gave up and stuck to the basics.
This is besides the point.
I suppose I'll be back in a bit with anything I have to offer. Maybe I'll do an analysis on school lunches. As far as they go in my school they're not awful but sometimes they have way too much grease or way too little flavor.
Seriously someone needs to fix that.
